3 cups oats
3 tablespoons freshly squeezed orange juice
4 tablespoons maple syrup (or sub any other liquid sweetener)
3 tablespoons aquafaba
Zest of 1 orange
1/3 cup chocolate chips


1. Combine all ingredients in a large mixing bowl.

2. Spread and flatten the mixture on a baking tray lined with baking paper.

3. Bake for around 30 minutes at 200 degrees, until the oats start to turn golden brown in colour.

4. Serve with soy milk and top with soy yoghurt. Will store in an airtight container for up to two weeks.

  1. I never thought of adding orange to granola. I’m definitely going to try combining this with the cacao granola with quinoa I’ve been making. What is aquafaba? Sorry if that is a dumb question! Is it like almond milk or soy milk?

    1. Granola with quinoa sounds good! Hope you enjoy! Aquafaba is the liquid from a can of chickpeas – it can be used in recipes in place of egg, but here I’ve used it to replace oil 🙂
